Sustainable Florida – Collins Center is proud to offer a variety of educational programs including executive forums, conferences, and provide a keynote speaker for events.

Learn how to improve performance by learning best practices for sustainable businesses. Be prepared for the new marketplace and build a network of new partners. This exciting program features several of Florida’s sustainability leaders in an informal setting that will educate, inspire and facilitate your first steps.

Sustainable Florida is pleased to again host Darcy Hitchcock, with Portland-based Axis Performance Advisors, in offering an exclusive one-day training program that will provide a practical step-by-step process for creating sustainability plans, conducting sustainability assessments and facilitating your sustainability journey.

This workshop is for chief executive officers, environmental managers, chief financial officers, consultants, and your “Green Team” leader. Students will learn how to move their organization along the path to sustainability. Participants should have a working knowledge of sustainability practices, frameworks and methods.

The one-day course includes a copy of the award-winning practical book, The Business Guide to Sustainability; SPaRK – the Sustainability Planning and Reporting Kit – a set of electronic files to help you develop your own sustainability plan, metrics and report and the training necessary use them. If you want to use SPaRK in your own organization, you can save the cost of an external assessor. If you’re a consultant, you will have a new tool to add to your bag of tricks. Lunch and breaks are also included.

Once you complete the SPaRK training program, you will be considered a Sustainable Florida Associate and listed on our website as a resource to others.
