February 12, 2012 – The Inner Journey to Sustainability and Beyond - Delray Beach
The session will present the research-based Regenerative Leadership Framework along with meditation practices specifically designed to increase our personal and collective mindfulness. The main goals of the workshop are to raise our level of consciousness, enhance our ability to live more purposefully, and build our capacity to work towards a more enlightened, just, prosperous, and sustainable society. February 17, 2012 – Educational Alliance for a Sustainable Florida, Central Florida College – Ocala
College and University sustainability professionals will gather for the bi-annual educational and networking forum to focus on various policy issues including student engagement and purchasing policies. February 23-25, 2012 – 18th annual Public Interest Environmental Law Conference, UF College of Law
University of Florida, Gainesville – This year’s PIEC will feature keynote speaker Carol Browner (JD 79), former White House “energy czar” under President Barack Obama. 2012 marks the 40th anniversary of both the Florida Water Resources Act and the federal Clean Water Act. In honor of this occasion, the 18th annual Public Interest Environmental Law Conference at the University of Florida Levin College of Law will focus on the evolution of water law and policy over the past four decades.
