Jenn Stutler has more than 13 years of experience in the construction industry and completed numerous education, institutional, retail, hotel and heathcare projects in southwest Florida ranging from $1M to $20+M. She is originally from Sebring, FL, and a graduate of the University of Florida, ME Rinker Sr. School of Building Construction. Ms. McAlister attributes her passion for sustainability to the work she did for Dr. Charles Kibert while at UF. On the topic of sustainability in the built environment and corporate responsibilities, Ms. McAlister feels “ we as General Contractors and Construction Managers have a corporate responsibility to conduct our business in an environmentally conscious, sustainable way. From recycling our own waste internally in our office, to retraining our subcontractors into thinking consciously about waste and air quality, this is a corporate lifestyle and not just a pitch to clients.” She is a past Chair and President of the Board of Directors for the Florida Gulf Chapter of USGBC, and serves on the Board of Directors for Sarasota County Leadership.
